Music Gallery

Love #2, October-November 2012

This drawing is kind of a continuation of "LOVE", a drawing I did in 2009 (see "Miscellaneous" gallery). In that 1st artwork, love was a universal language, expressed without any word but through the sign language. Here, I want to illustrate how love for music can also be considered a universal language. Just think about all the people you meet through your love of a certain artist/band. Now, I know I could have drawn a CD or an MP3 player but the very first albums I've owned ("True Cool" by David Hallyday) or bought with my pocket money ("Step by Step" by New Kids On The Block) were cassette tapes and yes, I'm still listening to them more than 20 years later.
