Work In Progress: Russell Crowe (Master and Commander)

I've added the first 2 steps of a work in progress for a portrait of Russell Crowe as Capt. Jack Aubrey in the movie "Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World", in the "Cinema" gallery. Have you ever read a book after watching the movie based upon it and it feels like you can hear the actor's voice when you're reading lines of dialogue? Well, I'm currently reading Patrick O'Brian's book "Master and Commander" and I just had to draw Russell Crowe / Captain Jack Aubrey ;)

WIP update & more

Sorry about the lack of drawing updates on the website these past weeks. Commissions are always a priority and, as it's often the case for children portraits, I can't publish the drawings I worked on. If you are also interested in personalized drawing commissions, please check the "Terms of Service" page where the procedure is explained.
I started working again on the drawing "Happy" so I updated the work in progress for it today. You can see it in the "Miscellaneous" gallery.

Work In Progress: Jensen Ackles

As usual, after 2 original artworks, it's time to draw some fanart. If you've been there since the early days of the website (after 11 years, thank you!!), you probably already know that but for the others, there's one actor who played a key role in the creation of aurelia-art.com . If I hadn't been a fan of his, there wouldn't be any website. He used to be my main source of inspiration and he's the reason I met my dear webmiss. I learnt a lot by portraying him repeatedly several years ago and I've missed drawing him. His name: Jensen Ackles. So, I've started a work in progress for a portrait of Jensen Ackles as Dean Winchester in "Supernatural" in the "Jensen Ackles" gallery. Step 2 will be added as soon as possible.
